What is calculated?
For a per-unit tier with a recorded quantity, total equals the published rate multiplied by that recorded quantity. If the provider publishes a package total, that total is shown directly, and a plan priced per month and billed monthly shows the price of one month. For a published flat rate, or the pay-as-you-go band of a price ladder, total equals that rate multiplied by the quantity you enter, once it meets the recorded minimum order. For a band with a published quantity range, total equals the band rate multiplied by a quantity you enter inside that range. For a need you enter, each published offer is compared with it as published: a package that holds at least your need covers it at its own price, and the difference is shown as how much more it holds.
