Proxy setup · device-specific instructions
Paste one proxy, choose your device, and get the exact fields to enter. Nothing is sent or changed on your device.
Your setup fields
Enter one endpoint to see its exact host and port. This tool does not test the proxy or configure your device.
Choose the right setup path
Create PAC, Omega or FoxyProxy files for browser-based switching. The guides here describe manual device fields, not a VPN, a working-proxy guarantee or a change to your network.

Device instructions and official sources
Read on 2026-09-17. Menus vary by operating-system version and organizational policy. Android's general vendor guide does not document every manufacturer's exact labels; the manual host/port fields are identified separately.
Android · Wi-Fi
- Open the connected Wi-Fi network in your device's network settings.
- Edit that network and find its proxy option. On standard Android menus, choose Manual; names vary by manufacturer and Android version.
- Use the separate host and port shown below, then save the network.
These are Wi-Fi HTTP proxy fields, not a device-wide tunnel. The vendor help does not guarantee identical menu labels on every Android device.
Chrome · desktop
- Chrome normally inherits the computer's system proxy settings; this guide does not install an extension or change browser policy.
- On Windows, open Network & internet in Settings, then the Proxy panel and its manual configuration.
- On macOS, open the active network service in System Settings, then Details and Proxies.
- Enter the host and port below in the relevant system fields, save, and reopen the browser connection.
Managed browser policies and extensions may override system settings. For a browser profile file instead, use Proxy switcher.
iOS · iPhone Wi-Fi
- Open Settings, then Wi-Fi, and the information control for your connected network.
- Open its HTTP proxy configuration and choose manual entry.
- Fill the separate server and port fields below. Enable authentication only when the supplied proxy requires it, then save.
This configures the selected Wi-Fi network, not cellular traffic. A managed profile may restrict editing; consult your administrator rather than removing their controls.
macOS
- In System Settings, select Network and the active network service.
- Open Details, then Proxies. Select the proxy type your administrator or provider supplied.
- Enter the separate host and port below. Use the password option only when credentials are required, then confirm the changes.
macOS has separate web and SOCKS controls. Do not substitute one protocol for another or change certificate trust to make a proxy work.
Nintendo Switch
- From System Settings, enter Internet settings and choose the registered connection.
- Edit that connection and enable its proxy setting only when your network requires a proxy.
- Enter the server and port below; fill the authentication option if required.
- Save, confirm the changes, then run the console's connection test.
Nintendo recommends leaving the proxy off on home networks that do not require one. Preserve unrelated DNS, IP and MTU values.
PS4
- In Settings, open Network and begin internet connection setup for your Wi-Fi or wired connection.
- Use Custom only when your network requires manual proxy configuration; retain your known working IP, DNS and MTU settings.
- At the proxy step, enable use of the supplied server and enter its address and port below.
- Finish setup and use the console's connection test.
A proxy prompt is a configuration option, not proof you need to buy a proxy. Without an administrator-provided requirement, use Easy or the no-proxy choice. This page does not diagnose the cause of a connection failure.
PS5
- Open Network settings and set up the Wi-Fi or wired internet connection.
- Choose Advanced Settings for that connection and locate the proxy option.
- Use the supplied server address and port below without altering unrelated network settings, then save and test the connection.
Sony's guide documents the proxy setting but not a username/password entry flow. The console's IPv6 network support does not mean an IPv6-only network will work.
Windows 10 / 11
- Open Settings and the Proxy panel under Network & internet.
- Edit the manual proxy configuration and enable the server option.
- Put the host and port below into their separate fields, preserve any network-specific exceptions, then save.
An organization's PAC script or VPN-specific settings are a different configuration path. Do not replace them without the network administrator's direction.
When a connection fails
Restore the old proxy setting first. Check the host, port, protocol, network availability and any required authentication with your provider or administrator. Do not change DNS, reset your network or install a root certificate merely because a proxy prompt appears.
